Surya Study Center meetings are held most Thursdays from September through June in Westfield or Scotch Plains, New Jersey, from 7 to 8:45pm.  Visitors and newcomers are cordially invited.  For further information and directions to meetings, please contact Joel Sunbear, President/Secretary, at 732-396-1813 or joelmelody@aol.com.

Thursday, October 9 at 7pm at Carol Raftis's in Westfield - Enrique Renard's Introductory Course in Theosophy, Chapter 2, Man and His Bodies.  Study and discussion, facilitated by Judi Higgins.

Thursday, October 16 at 7pm at Carol Raftis's in Westfield - Video and Discussion:  Memories and Visions of Paradise:  Exploring the Universal Myth of a Lost Golden Age.  This program explores the idea of a lost paradise and how it might be recaptured in modern times.

Thursday, October 23 at 7pm at Carol Raftis's in Westfield - Enrique Renard's Introductory Course in Theosophy, Chapter 3, Life After Death.  Study and discussion, facilitated by Ursula Steel.

Thursday, November 13 at 7pm at Carol Raftis's in Westfield - Albert Amao on The Symbol of the Rose and the Cross in the Esoteric Tradition, from his essay in Rose Lore, edited by Frankie Hutton.  The symbolic meaning of the rose and the Cross, their importance especially in the Jewish and Christian religions as well as in the Esoteric, and Mystical, and Qabalistic organizations.
