SURYA STUDY CENTER SCHEDULE FOR 2009 - 2010
Surya Study Center meetings are held most Thursdays from September through June in Westfield or Scotch Plains, New Jersey, from 7 to 8:45pm. Visitors and newcomers are cordially welcome. Surya Theosophical Study Group Schedule
November-December 2009
10/29 Regina St. Clare will join us to present her new book, The Way...from Awareness to Oneness, and the Wisdom's Way group which will begin meeting in Westfield Monday, November 2. NOTE: This meeting will be held at Barbara Durant's home.
11/5 Theosophical Discussion - Discussion of theosophical themes lead by a group member.
11/12 Gurparkash Singh, Ph.D. - Dr. Singh has been involved with interfaith groups for the last few years. He has represented the Sikhs in different forums organized by various social an religious organizations. He has been active in raising awareness about the Sikhs in New Jersey Schools. Note: This meeting will be held at Barbaa Durant's home.
11/19 Dr. Marehalli G. Prasad - Dr. Prasad has written four books on Hinduism and has given several lectures on the subject at leading universities. He is an outreach associate for the "Religion and Science" weekly of PBS television. He and his wife Greetha Prasad, through their cultural organization, Taranga, have written, directed and produced more than 25 plays and dance-dramas for all ages.

12/10 Festival of Lights - a Celebration of the Season of Lights and its deeper spiritual meaning. Facilitated by Surya President Joel Sunbear.
