WORLD METAPHYSICAL TRADITIONS:   A two-day seminar on 12 of the World’s Esoteric Spiritual Traditions

Saturday, October 25, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm  and  Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm  at The Millburn Free Public Library, 200 Glen Avenue, Millburn, NJ  07041

While traditional religion will always play a critical and valued role in society, many have, during the past 30 years sought the added meaning provided by the more esoteric or metaphysical spiritual traditions of the world. Many know that there is something missing from their lives but they do not know what it is. Others know they seek deeper spiritual fulfillment but do not know where to find it. This forum is designed to introduce the thinking public to reputable metaphysical spiritual traditions and to provide the seeker with the means for future exploration.

This two day-program includes distinguished representatives from ten reputable esoteric traditions. Included are overviews of Theosophy, Anthroposophy, and Alice Bailey, ECKANKAR, Rosicrucianism and New Thought. There will also be an introduction to esoteric traditions associated with Christianity (Gnosticism), Islam (Sufi) and Judaism (Kabbalah) as well as the selected Eastern traditions of Jainism and Zen Buddhism.

World Religions in New Jersey: Unity in Diversity Seminar

Saturday March 8, 2008 10:30-4:30 and Sunday March 9, 2008, 1:30-4:30

at the Millburn Free Public Library in Millburn New Jersey

Organized by the International Jain Sangh and the Spiritual Unity Network

This two-day seminar will be held at the Millburn Free Public Library in Millburn, New Jersey and will present a basic overview of the major world religions practiced by the diverse cultures in the State of New Jersey.

During humanity's long history, man's search for God/Self has led to many pathways. The result has been an enormous diversity of religious expressions. After the tragic events of September 11, there has been a renewed interest in other cultures and religions. Moreover, our global well-being has made the need to understand human history and diverse cultures more critical than ever before.
